Alexis Convento is a Pilipinx-American producer, project manager, and curator working between New York City and Berlin. Alexis collaborates with brands and artists alike to ideate, develop, and execute work with intention and scale. After graduating with a BFA in Dance from Fordham University, Alexis founded the CURRENT SESSIONS, an experimental dance and performance series which showed 214 emerging artists. Her curatorial interests include works of temporality, embodied histories, diasporic consciousness, survival, soft power, and community.
Alexis was also a producer at Imprint Projects, where she led experiential, photo/video, and print/digital accounts for clients including Spotify, the Modern Museum of Art, Nike, UNIQLO, Levi’s x Google Jacquard, and MUJI. By activating conversations between cultural contexts, Alexis focuses on simple processes that translate art production into stronger, more empathetic communities.
